Mobile Tyre Vehicle – Van Conversion

We were approached to design a Mobile Tyre Fitting Van, using a Man TGE for the van conversion. The Client specification was for

• Tyre Fitting Machinery
• Compressor
• Secondary battery
• Split Charge System
• 230v power via an Inverter
• Hot / Cold handwash
• Insulated Carpeted Ceiling
• Storage racking shelving
• Lighting
• Aluminium Floor
• Diesel night heater

After obtaining a list of  kit that was being proposed for the vehicle and its suggested time usage we then set about designing an electrical system that could more than cope with the power consumption requirements.

The racking and shelving was designed and manufactured to suit perfectly the shape and sizes of the tools to be deployed in the vehicle on a day to day basis allowing everything to be at ease of hand when required.

The LED (daylight) strip lighting directly above the work areas allowed for more than enough light for the interior tasks to be undertaken with no problems and minimal shadowing.
